Taste of Muskegon celebrates local cuisine

Get a taste of Muskegon this weekend on the lakeshore.

Friday and Saturday, Muskegon is celebrating local restaurants and food vendors with the Taste of Muskegon. From 4:30 until 10 p.m. on Friday and 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, Hackley park will be crowded with people looking to grab a bite.

Admission to the event is free, however, tasting tickets are $1 each. Those are available throughout the park and at each of the entrances. There are more than 30 businesses participating. You can check out the menu here.

There will be multiple family events and activities as well, including live performances, face painting and henna, a bounce house, and a farmer's market.
