GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — We help you plan your weekend, with Grand Rapids Kids -- and don't let the cold keep you in, there's plenty to do in West Michigan!

Starting with the lakeshore, the Muskegon Museum of Art is putting on a dinosaur themed Super Saturday, on January 11. It’s from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and is free for the whole family. The day includes a film, tour of the galleries, and a Jurassic themed craft. Kids can dress up in a dino outfit, and bring their favorite stuffed animals.

The 10th annual Kalamazoo Beer Week kicks off this weekend. It’s happening January 11 -18, to celebrate the city's craft beer culture. KBW is week-long series of fun, including special tastings, dinners, and interactive events. Each day they’re releasing a new beer at Bell's Eccentric Café.

The Grand Rapids Griffins are having a Heroes vs. Villains Night, on Saturday. It starts at 7 p.m. at the Van Andel Arena. There will be character appearances and an autograph session after the game. Friends and family four-packs are available here.

Finally, at the Urban Institute for Contemporary Arts in Grand Rapids, you can create your own work of art during Family Day. Explore the galleries and use your inspiration in the studio. You can make portrait-based artwork to take home, using supplies provided. It’s happening Saturday from 1 to 4 p.m. and is included with gallery admission.
