GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — There's no short list of things to do in Michigan's second largest city. In fact, it can be utterly overwhelming. That's where a new book with a comprehensive, fun and even a little quirky, list of things to do comes in handy.
100 Things to Do in Grand Rapids Before You Die, by Norma Lewis and Christine Nyholm provides readers with the top ways to connect with the City of Grand Rapids and nearby surroundings.
Norma joined My West Michigan Thursday to give our viewers the lowdown on the book. They also shared some details of an upcoming book festival.
The free event is happened at the Reading Rocks in Rockford on Saturday, June 1 from 10 a.m. until 1 p.m. It will be an outdoor affair, run by the Krause Library. Both Norma and Christine will be there selling and signing copies of their book.
