There are a lot of movie and show options out there, and sometimes you just don't know if something is worth the time and money to check out with your family, or if it's even appropriate for a family movie night. Box Office Mom Jackie Solberg checks out your options and shares her reviews, done through the lens of a mom, with us. This weekend, she checked out Men in Black: International.

Will Kids Like It? Yes

The Men in Black are back and sadly so are the aliens. Men in Black: International is the fourth movie in the MIB series. However, the original stars, Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, are not in this film. Chris Hemsworth (stars as Agent M) and Tessa Thompson (stars as Agent M) are the lead co-stars. Once again the characters are in danger and the aliens want to take over. Agents H and M team up and are on a mission to save the agency and the world.

Sexual Content: Moderate

  • A female alien is shown sleeping with Agent H- it's presumed they had a sexual encounter.
  • There's a sexual reference about masturbation.

Violent/Disturbing Content: Excessive

  • There are a lot of sci-fi violence scenes. Bad guys melt a character's face, this is very creepy.
  • Character's use space guns and real guns.
  • There are lot of fist fights and chase scenes.
  • We see scary aliens who have glowing, creepy eyes.

Crude or Profane Language: Moderate

  • One use of "f--k," plus a few uses of "s--t." Also "jackass," "ass-clown," "hell," "crap," "d--k," "butt," and "sucks."

Drug and Alcohol Content: Mild

  • Aliens drink alcohol.

Will Kids Like It? Yes

Overall, this is an entertaining film, especially for the MIB fans. Appropriate for kids ages 12 and up.
