GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The 32nd annual West Michigan Golf Show gets underway Friday, Feb. 14 at DeVos Place.

The show features all kinds of golf-related exhibits, skill challenges, free lessons and gear from local retailers. While there, golf enthusiasts can enter long drive and putting contests, get free swing lessons, and participate in the Treetops Resort $100 Hole-in-One Challenge -- everyone has the chance to win and every ace wins $100 on-the-spot.

The Ferris State PGA Golf Management Program will also break out the Trackman Iron Experience, which patrons can get the chance to learn club distances and compare golf show carry distances with those of PGA and LPGA players.

This year, the West Michigan Golf Show's featured speaker is Patti Butcher. She stopped by My West Michigan Thursday with a preview of her weekend of seminars, "FORCE PLATES: The Truth about Your Weight."

Get out to the golf show for some specials too. Friday is Ladies Golf Day with special events & giveaways for the first 500 women. The first 100 patrons each day get a free sleeve of golf balls courtesy of Boyne Golf.
