GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — We're putting local celebrities to the test yet again for another year of Flower Power!
Friday March 6 at 6 p.m. 13 ON YOUR SIDE's Angela Cunningham will be arranging flowers for charity.
Angela and other local charities will be part of the 7th annual uBloom Flower Power Challenge at the West Michigan Home and Garden Show. Flower Expert J Schwanke stopped by to give Angela some helpful hints to hone her flower power skills for the big contest.
J will also be hosting a variety of flower segments at the 41st annual West Michigan Home and Garden Show. The expo is taking place from March 5 to March 8 at DeVos Place downtown Grand Rapids.
The West Michigan Home and Garden show will feature 13 gardens, 5 free seminar stages and over 350 exhibitors showcasing products and services -- all under one roof. The hours are as follows:
- Thursday, March 5 from 3 p.m. to 9 p.m.
- Friday, March 6 from 12 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.
- Saturday, March 7 from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.
- Sunday, March 8 from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Ticket prices vary by age -- $12 adults, $5 children aged 6 to 14, while kids 5 and under are admitted for free. DeVos Place is located at 303 Monroe St NE.
