GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — It's time for a tea party!  

This year Tulip Time is hosting tea parties with Lida the Tulip Princess and her princess friends.   They take place Sunday, May 5 at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m.

The event includes tea party snacks, special activities and the opportunity to meet each princess personally right at your table. Kids can wear their favorite Princess or Prince attire!

The buffet tea party menu includes:

  • Magic Fruit Wands with Yogurt Dip
  • Veggie Sticks with Ranch Dressing
  • Meat & Cheese Munchies with Assorted Crackers
  • Tea Sandwiches (filled with peanut butter & jelly, turkey & cheese or ham & cheese)
  • Magical Mac & Cheese
  • Happily Ever After Desserts (an assortment of cakes & cookies)
  • Beverages (pink lemonade, iced tea, water)

VIP seating includes front-row tables, a special gift, and Princess royal portrait. Adult supervision is required. Children with VIP tickets must be accompanied by at least one paid adult with a VIP ticket, and children with General tickets must be accompanied by at least one paid adult with a General ticket.  

This event is best suited for children aged 2 and up.  Ages 1 and under are free to attend, but must sit on a paid adult ticket holder’s lap. No high chairs available, and no car seats are permitted in the venue due to limited space.  Also, Princesses are unable to hold babies/children for photo opportunities.

Tickets are $45 per person and if you want the VIP treatment, those tickets are $65 per person.
