GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — It's time to break out the peanut butter and PAW-ty!
Paws With A Cause is celebrating their 40th anniversary this weekend and they would love to have you join them for the celebration. Cara Conway with Paws With A Cause talks with us about their open house celebration, which includes a behind the scenes look at Paws With a Cause from puppies, to training, to clients who have benefited from their assistance and service dogs.
The event is happening from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. on Saturday, June 22 at the Paws with a Cause campus in Wayland, Mich.
Paws With A Cause has a special place in our hearts here at 13 ON YOUR SIDE, Val Lego is a puppy raiser. She is currently working with a black lab named, Rae, who you can see on My West Michigan every morning with the crew.
Rae is actually Val's second puppy. Our station's very first Paws puppy was named CJ. She was a yellow lab and now works in Southeast Michigan with her client.
