For two weekends this fall, Sept. 29 & 30 and Oct. 6 & 7, people will have the opportunity to build scarecrows in downtown Rockford. The hours for scarecrow building are 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. on Saturdays. Sunday hours are 10 a.m. - 5 p.m. For a $10 donation, participants will receive everything needed to build a custom scarecrow that they can take with them to be proudly displayed throughout the fall.
