GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — New Holland Brewing Co. is getting into the spirit of the season with a spooky brew.
Ichabod sets the mood with the perfect blend of malted barley, real pumpkin and bewitching notes of cinnamon and nutmeg for a delicious and inviting brew. The result is an approachable and enjoyable beer with an alcohol content of 4.5%. Its flavors of real pumpkin and spice make the specialty beer a seasonal favorite and one of our most anticipated releases every fall.
Ichabod’s label depicts the iconic and spooky “Headless Horseman” character with a wicked pumpkin in hand. In fact, New Holland Brewing will host two screenings of Tim Burton's film, "Sleepy Hollow,” while tapping Ichabod at the events.
The first showing will take place Saturday, Oct. 12 at the Park Theatre in Holland. Starts at 8 p.m., doors open at 7 p.m.
Then, on Halloween Eve Wednesday, Oct. 30 New Holland will put on a “Sleepy Hollow” screening at The Wealthy Street Theater in Grand Rapids Starts at 8 p.m., doors open at 7 p.m.
