Photo Wine Glasses

Wine charms can be cute and helpful, but truly personalized glasses using fun photographs can make your present completely special. Consider gifting a set of 4 or 6 glasses with photos of friends, pets, or a vacation adventure. If photos aren't up your alley, try using scrapbook paper, wallpaper, a book page or map. Wine Cork Monogram

Monograms are a popular decorative item, so amp up the wine theme by adding 1/4" slivers of corks to a wooden letter. Be sure to paint the letter first, then carefully cut the cork using an X-acto knife. Hot glue the cork slivers to the letter, then prepare to paint. Synthetic corks don't stain from red wine, so they can be painted with acrylics in any color to match decor.

Wine Cork Ornament

Full corks can be hot glued together to make many arrangements to hang on a tree: a candy cane, wreath, or a 3D tree. Personalize with acrylic paint colors on the ends of the corks and tie with ribbon to hang on the tree. Check out inspirational ornament shapes here: http://wonderfuldiy.com/

Tags & Bags for Wine Bottles

Personalized gift tags are a fun way to give a bottle of wine. Consider using unexpected elements like paint sample strips and bling, and add interest with dimension and layers. Instead of using a regular wine bag, whip out the sewing machine and cannibalize a long-sleeved dress shirt. Thrift shops are a perfect place to find inexpensive shirts. Cut the shirt sleeve two inches longer than the length of the wine bottle. Flip the sleeve inside out and stitch a line along the bottom cut edge. Flip right side out and slip the bottle into the new bag so the cuff is at the neck of the bottle.
