July 1 – Lighthouse Tours

The Michigan Lighthouse Conservancy is offering sunset tours of the Muskegon South Pierhead Light Saturdays in July from 5 to 8 p.m. The cost is $2 - $4. For more information, call 844-MLIGHTS or visit www.muskegonlights.org.

July 3 & 4 – Muskegon Rockstock

The 8th annual Muskegon Rockstock will be held on July 3 and 4 at Heritage Landing. This popular festival began in 2008 as a way to showcase the local music scene and has been getting bigger and better every year. The mission is to provide a rockin' family event at a reasonable price that supports all things local. This year's two day 4th of July celebration will feature lots of great food, Budweiser and craft beers, vendors, tried and true music and NEW this year, KIDSTOCK, a Kangaroo Palace special event for kids of all ages.

July 7 & 8 - The Lakeshore Art Festival

Over 300 booths of crafts, food, activities for kids, music and more. Covers several blocks in downtown Muskegon.

July 13 & 16 - Rebel Road and Muskegon Bike Time

Motorcyclists from all over the country, great music, food, fun and sights to see. Western Avenue is closed down for all of the entertainment.

July 15 & 16 - Michigan's Heritage Park

Honoring Michigan's native heritage with their annual Pow Wow. It's a stunning event celebrating Native American culture, dance, music, and food. People can participate in some of the activities. Easy to find, just off US 31 at the Whitehall Exit.

July 20 through 22 - The 29th Annual Sandy Corley Memorial Run

Raising over $2 million for the Johnson Center for Cancer Care in Muskegon, the Corley Run welcomes a great line-up of music including Winger, Lita Ford, Skid Row and more this year.

July 24 through 29 – The Muskegon County Youth Fair

Muskegon county 4H kids compete in very traditional 4h endeavors. Raising pigs, chickens, cows, horses, growing plants and more. It's all happening at the Muskegon County Fairgrounds.

July 27 through 29 - Holton Days

Thursday through Saturday, everyone is invited to downtown Holton for the 37th Annual Holton Days. This is truly an old fashioned treat of a festival featuring pie auctions, kids' games, tractor pulls, cloggers, a chainsaw competition, the Grande Parade and even an Elvis impersonator.
