The WestSide Project to host a first-time street fair on Saturday

Sometimes the best ideas come over cocktails and written down on a napkin. That's exactly what happen with the creation of The WestSide Project.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - A place to collaborate. A space for creativity. That is the whole idea behind, The WestSide Project.

The newly-created group is hosting the WestSide Street Fair on Saturday, September 22, 2018. It is happening at Broadway between Bridge and First Streets in Grand Rapids. The event runs from Noon until 8 p.m.

Richard App Owner, Nomad Gallery, Anna Baeten, Executive Director of Scratch Branding, and Pete Brand, CEO Mindscape stopped by My West Michigan to talk about the event. It is a day of live music, painting, family activities, and ice cream. People can take part in community scavenger hunts and more.
