GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — It's time again to honor those who have made the ultimate sacrifice for our country. 

Wreaths Across America coordinates wreath laying ceremonies at more than 1,600 locations across the United States, at sea and abroad.  

On Saturday, Dec. 14, there will be a ceremony in Grand Rapids.  It takes place at Sunshine Community Church, located at 3019 Coit Ave. NE (previously the Coit St. V.A. building). 

Social hour is from 10 a.m. until 11:20 a.m. The Color Guard and various speakers will present at 11:20 a.m.  The official ceremony starts at noon. 

Following an indoor ceremony, people will proceed to the Grand Rapids Home for Veterans Cemetery to place wreaths.  If you have questions, please contact Sonya at 616-780-9875.
