GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — The Cottages at Martin Lake new luxury senior home gives seniors a start to a new life. Seniors have lived their lives, they’ve worked and raised families, and now they deserve something nice to retire to.

The Cottages at Martin Lake is senior living home for active seniors age 55 located on Martin Lake, 3088 S. Van Wagoner Ave. Fremont, Michigan.

Anna Hunt, a Registered Nurse with varied experience from Labor & Delivery to Hospice and graduate from Calvin College, recently bought the property on Martin Lake from her 86 year old father, who loved spending time on the lake.

Hunt was inspired by her father and the huge need for seniors who don’t want to live alone or need just a little bit of extra help, decided to build The Cottages at Martin Lake.

"This is a place for Seniors to “Keep on Living”," said Hunt. "Seniors have lived their lives, they’ve worked and raised families, and now they deserve something nice to retire to."

The estate has brand new construction designed for optimal enjoyment and comfort. The senior home can have six seniors. Singles or couples. It has five suites, four singles, and one deluxe for two.

All suites face the water with individual sliders to the patio and have individual climate control.

The estate is designed for seniors who are still mostly independent but will have the benefit of someone looking after them.
