Family fun for all at the National Baby Food Festival in Fremont

The four-day festival will have many events including a community picnic, baby crawl, arts and craft show and farmers' market.

Get your tiny spoons ready, because the National Baby Food Festival kicks off this Wednesday!

Fremont, Michigan is the Baby Food Capital of the World, and the home of Gerber Products Company. This festival is sure to be one-of-a-kind.

National Baby Food Festival Co-Coordinator, Sydney Baird stopped by to tell us how we can enjoy four days of family fun at the festival.

The National Baby Food Festival takes place in Downtown Fremont, starting with the Kid’s Expo on July 18. It’s an afternoon of fun for children 0 to 12 years old, filled with hands on activities, crafts, food, kid’s parade, bike race and the midway opens at noon.

The four-day festival will play host to many events including a community picnic, baby crawl, an arts and craft show and farmers’ market.

There’s plenty of free entertainment as well. Folks can watch the Corporate Olympics, bed race, car show, and much more! Let’s also not forget the Grand Parade on Saturday! If you want to take part in the races, you can always join in on the frog jumping, turtle racing, hula hooping, and baby food eating!
