What started as a community picnic back in 1924 has grown into an all-out celebration, where some 350,000 people are expected to join in! There will be ship tours, music, carnival rides, fireworks and a grand parade on Saturday. The festival honors the men and women who serve in the Coast Guard and gives the community a chance to display its pride in being named “Coast Guard City USA.” For more information and a schedule of all of the festival activities, visit https://www.coastguardfest.org/
