The Grand Rapids Children’s Museum (GRCM) a lot going on this holiday season! In addition to the several special performances scheduled, including a magic show, a puppet show, dance performances, and a juggler, this month, GRCM is offering a special program called GiftWorks.

During GiftWorks, kids can come to the museum and make a handmade project – such as a keychain, a candle jar or a magnet set. Kids can then wrap it up and take it with them to give to someone special. GiftWorks will run at the museum through December 23.

Need some new year plans? GRCM’s New Year’s Early Eve event is the perfect way to ring in the new year with your little ones. The party will run from 6:00-8:00p.m. with music, dancing, celebratory crafts and kid-friendly food and drinks. The “grand finale” of the evening will be a countdown and balloon drop.

As the year comes to an end, the GRCM is reminding West Michigan residents that it’s a non-profit organization which depends on the generosity of the community for funds. Its goal is to raise $25,000 by December 31st to help ensure all children have access to play. To show your support, visit www.grcm.org/support.
