MUSKEGON, Mich - Art has played a big part in Muskegon for decades. The Lakeshore Art Festival continues that tradition with a unique blend of fine art, crafts, music, food, and fun.

This year's event boasts a record-breaking number of artists and will feature some new experiences. There will be 350 fine art and craft exhibitor booths, half from Michigan and the rest from all over the country.

Additional entertainment includes street performers, one full block of children’s activities, 22 booths of festival food, an emerging authors tent, and student art tent.

We got the lowdown from Lakeshore Art Festival Director, Carla Flanders and artist, Melinda Schertenlieb.
