Hospice of Michigan discusses National Social Work Month

March is National Social Work Month and Hospice of Michigan social worker, Khue Dinh explains the importance of social work.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — March is National Social Work Month and each year, the National Association of Social Workers celebrates the contributions of the more than 700,000 social works across the nation.

This year’s theme is “Generations Strong."

This theme celebrates the important role social workers have played in improving lives of Americans from the Greatest Generation to Generation Z.

Social Workers are present throughout our society – and hospice care is one of the areas where social workers can make a tremendous impact

Khue Dinh is a Hospice of Michigan Social Worker and discusses how a social worker can help patients and families at end of life. Dinh also gives advice for the next generation of social workers and what they should know.
