Waterford Place is changing the way people live with dementia

Waterford Place has a suite of cognitive therapies and programs, including SAIDO Learning Therapy which has been shown to improve the lives of adults battling Alzheimer's and other forms of dementia.

Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia are growing at an alarming rate, but Sunset Retirement Communities & Services is trying to change what it means to live with dementia.

Sunset Retirement Communities & Services is a local, Christian, nonprofit organization which provides multiple levels of senior care. One of the organization’s centers, Waterford Place, has recently been re-purposed from a five-star rehab facility to a state-of-the-art memory care program. The new facility has a suite of cognitive therapies and programs, including SAIDO Learning Therapy which has been shown to improve the lives of adults battling Alzheimer’s and other forms of dementia.

Other senior-care plans with Sunset Communities include nursing homes, home care, senior living, hot meal deliveries and assisted living. For more information on Sunset Retirement Communities & Services, visit sunsetcommunities.org. To learn more about The Waterford Place, visit wpmemorycare.org.
