It's called Pennyroyal Cafe and Provisions and opens Wednesday, April 24 in Saugatuck

SAUGATUCK, Mich. - Tasty things are coming to the lakeshore, specifically a new restaurant owned by a top chef and winner of a popular Food Network culinary reality TV show.

Pennyroyal Cafe and Provisions is officially opening in Saugatuck on Wednesday, April 24 -- after a soft open the previous weekend. It's owned and operated by Executive Chef Melissa Corey, who was named one of Chicago's top female chefs in 2015 by Thrillest. Corey also competed and won the Food Network show "Chopped" back in 2012.

The restaurant will serve breakfast, brunch, and lunch with plans to offer dinner. They also serve coffee from Madcap and pastries.

Pennyroyal will be open everyday expect Tuesdays from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m.
