Experience the nativity live at the Critter Barn

This is the 19th year of the live nativity scene at the Critter Barn. There will be longer hours to view the nativity in the days leading up to Christmas.

ZEELAND, Mich. - Come experience the nativity like you've never seen it before!

The Critter Barn in Zeeland is filled with hundreds of animals that families can visit year-round. But during the holiday season, the barns transform into a live replica of the nativity scene.

The live nativity is complete with Mary, Joseph, baby Jesus and shepherds. Visitors will not only get to see the nativity, but also hear and smell the animals as sheep, goats and calves join the scene.

The experience is free with donations welcome. There are many performances leading up to Christmas. Find the calendar here.

The Critter Barn will also be breaking ground on a new farm in the spring of 2019.
