BIG TEN UPDATE | The Big Ten and Pac-12 won't play football this fall because of concerns about COVID-19, taking two of college football's five power conferences out of a crumbling season amid the pandemic. GRPD REFORM | Grand Rapids Police Chief Eric Payne has formally presented his plan to transform policing to city leaders. The plan is focused around neighborhood policing, and would work to find alternative ways to respond to certain calls that don't require officers.
