Many people might say there is an art to thrifting, and it's a skill many of would like to acquire. Kyra Crandol launched Studio Thrift, an online thrift store, in October of 2014. She joined the weekend morning news with tips to help up your thrifting game.

We asked Kyra when and why she started thrifting: "I started thrifting while in my graduate program due to not having appropriate work attire after attempting to shop at the mall and not being able to afford it. I ended up becoming really good at thrifting and I would share my OOTD (outfit of the day) on social media where I started to get attention,"

It's possible you've seen Kyra before: "I have been featured in the Grand Rapids Magazine, on the cover of Women's Lifestyle Magazine, and celebrity Angela Simmons has also worn Studio Thrift while filming. Studio Thrift is based online although I do pop-up shops including the Vintage Market that is located at the Downtown Market every summer so that customers can actually touch/try on the clothing," she explained.
