WZZM has launched a year-long program called The Sandwich Generation Survival Kit. Its purpose is to explore the challenges faced by more than 66-million Americans who find themselves in the balancing act of raising children while caring for their aging parents.

Two years ago, Sarah Wright was a working mother of three daughters who became her mother's full-time caregiver following a cancer diagnosis. Her experience is representative of how overwhelming and stressful this life stage can be. She shared her experience with us and offered some advice for how to hold it all together.
