Grand Rapids Public Museum hosts "Dark Beer, Dark Side" on Black Friday.

There is so much going on at the Grand Rapids Public Museum with the holiday season upon us. That includes on Black Friday, when they are hosting the "Dark Beer, Dark Side" event in partnership with Brewery Vivant.

WZZM 13's Meredith TerHaar spoke with the museum's Christie Bender who explained what it's all about.

Here's the rundown of the night, per Christie:

Beginning at 6:30 p.m. hear a brief presentation from Ryan Engemann, the Wandering Monk from Brewery Vivant, on the differences between various dark beers including Brewery Vivant's highly anticipated Tart Side of the Moon.

Between 7:15 and 7:45 p.m. visitors have the chance to explore more of the Museum and grab another beer to enter the Chaffee Planetarium for the Museum's original production, Dark Side: The Light Show, set to the music of Pink Floyd.

Tickets include 3 beer samples, general admission to the Museum and admission to the evening's planetarium show.
