Greenthumb: Getting a head start on your garden

When it's still too cold out for new plants to survive you can give them a head start inside.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - It's warmer out, but the overnight lows are still too low to really get going on the yard and garden. If you are itching to get going though, you can try working indoors for a little while longer. Rick and Steve visited another expert on growing things, Ian from the Frederik Meijer Gardens. He shared some tips on how you can get some plants started before the last freeze day.
