One Good Thing: Freeing a Fawn

The Sharps found a fawn caught on a fence at their farm and worked quickly to free it.

COLON, Mich - Today's dose of positivity involves the rescue of a young woodland animal.

This is video from Mark and Carol Sharp's farm in Colon, Mich., which is south of Kalamazoo. You can see here, a little fawn got caught by its leg in a fence on their property, and it wasn't too happy about it. Mark went and found himself a pair of pliers to cut it loose. After he does, you can see the fawn is a little winded probably pretty scared still. But, it eventually finds its energy and—as you would expect—takes off into the woods.

In all seriousness, the poor little thing likely would have died had Mark not helped it. So for taking the time to rescue that little fawn Mark Sharp gets today's One Good Thing.
