Some Spirit Halloween stores to transition to Spirit Christmas after this spooky season

Multiple Spirit Christmas locations will be opening in the U.S. this holiday season.

PENNSYLVANIA, USA — Every September, Spirit Halloween stores start to make their pop-up appearances for the Halloween season, but a new announcement from the company says they'll be staying around for the remainder of the holiday season.

Spencer's Spirit Holdings, the parent company of Spirit Halloween, announced the openings of Spirit Christmas locations across the Northeast.

Spirit Christmas will have 10 locations spanning from Massachusetts to Pennsylvania, with Pa.'s location being nestled in Erie at the Mill Creek Mall.

An opening day has not been released for Erie's location but a statement on Spirit Christmas' website says, "Visit us this fall for a unique holiday shopping experience." The first location to open will be in New Jersey on Oct. 18.

Spirit Christmas will be selling, "thousands of stocking stuffers, holiday apparel, fun gifts, unique décor, plus all the special trimmings for creating an unforgettable Christmas," according to its website.

All locations will also have photo opportunities with Santa and a 'life-sized' gingerbread village.

Customers interested in taking pictures with Santa can reserve a spot online on the website.

Reserving a spot online also comes with benefits like receiving 10 free cards and 50% off the entire Shutterfly order, a personalized digital message from Santa before the visit, skipping the line, free rescheduling up to 48 hours before the visit and a quick checkout process.
