Gimme FIVE! Men's hands say a lot about their health

Got a long pointer finger? Then you've got a lower chance of getting prostate cancer.

Guys, the next time you give someone a high five, you might find yourself checking out their fingers. That's because there's a fun little health fact that goes along with finger size.

Take a look at your hands. Got a long pointer finger? Then you've got a lower chance of getting prostate cancer. It's a sign that you were getting a little less testosterone when your mom was pregnant. Researchers have found that gives you some protection against prostate cancer.

Losing your hair could damage more than your ego, depending on where you’re losing it. If you are losing your hair on the top of your head instead of around the hairline, you’re at a higher risk for heart disease. Researchers think the link has to do with insulin resistance that appears slightly more often in men with this type of baldness. Insulin resistance causes high blood sugar levels which can lead to cardiovascular disease.

Worried about the lines and wrinkles that are starting to show up? It could be a sign that something is happening on the inside as well. The more wrinkles, the higher your risk of heart disease.

Of course, none of these signs mean you will absolutely get heart disease or prostate cancer. Diet and exercise can go a long way in protecting you against those conditions.
