Mosquitoes might find you tastier than your friends

Mosquitoes prefer Type O blood which accounts for about 45 percent of us. If you've got Type B, you're lucky. They don't prefer you, but that doesn’t mean you won’t still get bit if they are desperate for a meal.

Are you the one talking the most at parties and picnics? Mosquitoes are attracted to excess carbon dioxide and can smell it from 160 feet away.

Drinking a lot of beer while you’re at it? Mosquitoes really like to party so they'll be headed your way. Studies confirm this, but we still don't know why they prefer beer drinkers over wine or liquor.

Pregnant? Plan on getting more mosquito bites than anyone else because you are breathing 21 percent more carbon dioxide than the average person.

If you want to try and avoid mosquito bites, you might want to try wearing light colored clothing and use bug spray with at least 25 percent deet and spray it every few hours.
