Klackle Orchards up for auction after owners announce retirement

About 450 acres of the orchard will be up for sale next year.

GREENVILLE, Mich. - A fall tradition for many in West Michigan will be put up for auction in 2019

The owners of Klackle Orchards announced their retirement earlier this month, as well as plans to put the property and equipment up for sale.

According to Lansing-area auctioneer Sheridan Realty and Auction Co, the auction will start March 9, 2019.

Steve and Rosemary Klackle have owned and operated Klackle Orchards for more than 40 years. Steve Klackle got involved in the family orchard in the 1970s and made a West Michigan family destination by adding the Klackle Orchards Family Fun Farm and The Cornucopia retail farm market.
