Grand Rapids start-up celebrates launch with free car giveaway

A Grand Rapids-based car finding service is celebrating its launch by giving you a shot at a free car.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. - Carmony is like E-Harmony for cars. The service is a start-up business launched by six Grand Rapids residents.

It uses technology to match customers to cars based on their lifestyles.

“If you tell Carmony that you are a parent, your kids ride with you all the time, you sometimes tow light loads, and you want an eco-friendly car, it will show you - objectively - vehicles that best match that criteria and requirements,” said Carmony co-founder Lance Beaudry in a release.

“By answering a few questions, the site generates a match score to available cars, and which dealerships have them available.”

The start-up is teaming up with Betten Baker Honda in Muskegon to give away a 2018 Honda Civic.
