Try It Before you Buy It: Egg Cushion

We test out the egg cushion, is it worth sitting down for, and can you really sit on an egg? we Try It!

Are you sitting down watching this, wishing it was a little more comfortable?

Then the egg cushion might be for you. It claims to be comfortable, cooling, and pain-reducing, plus you can also sit on an egg without breaking it

So can we crack this egg … let's Try It Before you Buy It!

The Egg cushion comes with the gel cushion and the optional anti-slip cover. It's very soft and feels like Jello in the hands.

We decided to try a variety of chairs and bodies.

First up a standard office chair, This swivel office chair didn't work too well. It gave the feeling of instability. It did add cushion but made the user feel like they were going to fall out. But a different person on the same chair with the cover said they liked it and didn't feel the same uneasy feeling.

What if you are stuck in one of those lovely hard plastic chairs in a fun meeting? This makes it a bit more bearable.

A rigid metal cabinet on wheels, now it's an extra seat.

And that outside park bench is now a comfy outdoor chair.

What about a hot car seat? This showed how this was great for cooling but a bit difficult when trying to plop down on it. The added bulk made it feel a little off.

And what about that egg, every seat, and every bottom sat on this thing, it never hatched, and nothing ever broke through, so it gets a major thumbs up for this.. and in case you wondered if it was a real egg here you go.

So the results:

  • The egg cushion did make a difference on almost all the chairs we tried
  • Our testers claimed it was comfortable and made a difference in the end.
  • We never broke the egg

The only negative is it won't work on every chair

We would rate this as a Buy It!
