United Way's Kent County Tax Credit Coalition is offering free tax help for people in Grand Rapids.
It's through a partnership with the Fifth Third Financial Empowerment Mobile (ebus). Services available include tax preparation, e-filing, financial education and information on bank products and services including fraud awareness and prevention .
The eBus will be in the Grand Rapids area from Monday March 28 to Friday April 1. "Our goal is to help people in the communities we serve, and to improve their lives" says Francine Gaston, community and economic development officer for Fifth Third Bank.
Households that made less than $55,000 in 2015 qualify. Households who made less than $62,000 in 2015 or who prefer to prepare their own taxes online, can e-file for free at myfreetaxes.com

The eBus will be at each location from 1-5 p.m.
Monday: Inner City Christian Federation (ICCF) on Cherry St. in Grand Rapids.
Tuesday: York Creek Apartments in Comstock Park
Wednesday: ICCF Community Center on Franklin St.
Thursday: York Creek Apartments
