2 men hospitalized after overnight shooting in Ottawa County

Both men were transported to a Muskegon area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

ROBINSON TOWNSHIP, Mich. - Deputies in Ottawa County are investigating after two men were shot at a residence in Robinson Township.

Police responded to the 14000 block of 108th Avenue at 12:25 Tuesday morning.

Responding deputies found a 43-year-old man from Ravenna and a 57-year-old man from Robinson Township both suffering from gun shot wounds.

Police say the two were friends but it appears some sort of disagreement occurred just prior to the shooting. Two other individuals were present in the kitchen of the residence where the shooting is believed to have occurred.

Those two individuals were not hurt and are being questioned by detectives.

A weapon was recovered at the scene, and police say it's possible one of the injured men fired rounds that caused injury to both.

Both men were transported to a Muskegon area hospital with life-threatening injuries.

According to the Ottawa County Sheriff's Office, there are currently no outstanding suspects, but the investigation is still ongoing.
