GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. -- Felony charges have been filed against two suspects after police say they car jacked pizza delivery drivers.

Police say the first delivery robbery happened around 8:30 p.m. in the 1400 block of Eastern Avenue SE. on Monday, Dec. 10. One suspect fled on foot and the other took off in the victim's vehicle. The vehicle was found the next day.

On Tuesday, Dec. 11, just before 1 p.m., police were called about a Pizza Hut delivery driver who was assaulted and carjacked in the 2100 block of Ridgecrest Road SE.

On Wednesday, Dec. 12 the following charges were issued for a 23-year-old man from Grand Rapids. They are two counts of carjacking, one count of fleeing/eluding in the 3rd degree and one count of resisting/obstructing a police officer.

The second count of carjacking stems from another incident on Dec. 8, 2018, in the same 2100 block of Ridgecrest. He is expected to be arraigned on Thursday, Dec. 13, police say.

The second suspect is a 14-year-old. The charges against the teenager include one count of Carjacking and one count of Resisting/Obstructing a Police Officer.

Grand Rapids police also say there have been two other pizza delivery drivers robbed in the past eight weeks. It is unclear at this time if they are all connected.
