BATTLE CREEK, Mich. - A Battle Creek woman, Davi Sarah Bailey, was sentenced to 6½ years in prison, the United States Attorney's Office in Grand Rapids announced Friday.

Bailey was convicted in June of retaliating against a victim of child pornography and the victim's family.

The threats were made during the trial of Michael Clayton, the father of Bailey's children. He was convicted of sex trafficking a minor girl and producing child porn involving three minors.

According to the U.S. Attorney, throughout Clayton’s trial, Bailey threatened two of the victims of child pornography production. Due to those threats, law enforcement accompanied the victims throughout the rest of the trial to ensure their safety.

After trial concluded one evening, law enforcement found Bailey waiting in a parking lot by a victim’s vehicle. After the trial, Bailey threatened to beat up the sister of one of the victims, based on the victim’s testimony.

Clayton is serving a sentence of life in prison.
