KENT COUNTY, Mich.- Walker Police and Kent County Sheriff's deputies were called to a Cash Store on the 3700 block of Alpine Avenue NW on a report of a robbery Wednesday evening.
Dispatch tells 13 ON YOUR SIDE the call came in just after 5:25 p.m. Police on scene said no one was hurt and the suspect fled on foot. The suspect did not get any cash, police said.
According to the Kent County Sheriff's Office, the suspect matched the description of other Cash Store robberies and it is believed the attempted robbery is related to other incidents reported in Ottawa and Muskegon counties.
The suspect is still at large.
