Detroit man charged with robbing two banks on September 10th

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — A Detroit man who has been on the run since 2015 is in the Kent County Jail, charged with two bank robberies.

Grand Rapids Police say Kenneth Moore, 56, robbed two Fifth Third Bank branches roughly four hours apart on September 10th, 2018. Moore has an extensive criminal past and was recently featured in a U.S. Marshal’s “Most Wanted” segment in Detroit.

Jail records indicate Moore was booked into the Kent County Jail on Thursday January 17, 2019. He was arraigned Friday morning on two charges of bank robbery where his bond was set at $500,000.

Moore is scheduled to be back in court on January 29, his preliminary hearing is set for February 5, 2019.
