The Kent County Sheriff's Office is asking for the community's help in finding the driver involved in a hit-and-run accident that left a 62-year-old man injured.

According to a KCSO, it happened on Nov. 17 around 11:30 p.m. on Division Avenue just south of 60th Street SE.

The bicyclist, a 62-year-old Gaines Township man, was hit from behind while riding northbound on Division. The vehicle was seen fleeing the scene on a neighboring businesses surveillance video.

*Note: The object seen in the air following impact is a grocery bag the bicyclist was carrying.

The 62-year-old is currently recovering from his injuries, however, the driver has not yet been located and police are asking for help in located them.

The suspect vehicle is a 1999-2005 Pontiac Grand Am, possibly dark in color.
