A suspect has turned himself in after a weekend shooting that injured a father and son in Grand Rapids.

The Grand Rapids Police Departments says a 48-year-old man and his 17- year-old son were both shot near the intersection of Fuller Avenue and Watkins Street, southeast on Sunday Dec. 2 around 4 p.m.

Police say Otis Lee Walker-Houston, 22, turned himself at the Kent County Jail. The suspect is charged with intent to do great bodily harm, possession of a firearm, and carrying a concealed weapon. The victims involved in the shooting are expected to survive.
