Two Muskegon Heights teens are facing charges for their roles in a gay teen's beating and humiliation.

On Nov. 4, a 17-year-old was robbed of his cellphone and other person items, as well as forced to strip naked because of his sexual orientation. The suspect who robbed him, Trevon Godbolt, was arrested Nov. 7 and charged with unarmed robbery and unlawful imprisonment.

Two girls were also at the scene of the robbery and filmed the 17-year-old's beating.

In the video, Godbolt can be seen grabbing and beating the victim who yells, "please stop." Godbolt repeatedly calls the victim a "gay n-word" and verbally berates him. The victim is forced to strip all of his clothes off.

Gddbolt then tells the victim to run off, and he is chased by two the girls, one of whom is filming the assault. She laughs and yells, "catch him." The video it was posted to social media.

Those girls, 14 and 13, are facing unarmed robbery and unlawful posting of message charges. The unarmed robbery charge carries a maximum sentence of 15 years and the unlawful posting charge carries a maximum sentence of two years.
