TOWNSHIP OF RICHLAND, Richland — RICHLAND TOWNSHIP, Mich. - A 56-year-old man from Hastings died in a single-car crash on Tuesday around noon.
The victim has now been identified as Thomas Kelly Barton from Hastings.
The Kalamazoo County Sheriff's Office said they responded to the report of the crash on the 10000 block of North 32nd Street in Richland Township. When they arrived, police found the vehicle on the icy road overturned on its roof.
Barton was pronounced dead at the scene.
Alcohol is not believed to be a factor. The crash is still under investigation.
