TRUMP CONDEMNS RIOT | President Donald Trump released a new video message Thursday night saying he will now focus on ensuring an orderly transition of power. In the recorded message posted to Twitter, he acknowledged for the first time that President-elect Joe Biden's administration will take power on Jan. 20. The president also said those who broke the law during the US Capitol riot will be punished. 

BETSY DEVOS RESIGNS | Betsy DeVos resigned as Education Secretary on Thursday. She is the second Cabinet member to resign after the riot and was one of few original Cabinet members remaining in the Trump Administration. In her resignation letter, DeVos criticized the president's actions Wednesday saying, "There is no mistaking the impact your rhetoric had on the situation."

OTTAWA COUNTY VACCINE DEMAND | The Ottawa County Department of Public Health says it will likely not be able to expand its vaccine rollout next week. The health department says it doesn't even have enough vaccines to complete the first phase. Officials are asking fro patience from residents, saying they will be notified when more vaccines become available.
