OVERNIGHT CRASH | Police in Grand Rapids are investigating an overnight crash where a truck was flipped over but the driver was nowhere to be found. Police tried to track the individual down with a K9, but it was unsuccessful. 

CAPITOL SECURITY | There was a massive police and National Guard presence in Lansing Sunday, which may have deterred a planned election protest. Police said only about 25 pro-Trump activist showed up for the protest, a number dwarfed  by thousands of law enforcement officers. The protest remained peaceful and the heavy police presence will continue through this week. 

GRPS HYBRID CLASSES | Grand Rapids Public Schools will return to the classroom tomorrow for the first time in nearly a year. The district is moving to a hybrid plan -- with students spending half their time in class and the other half online. The state is encouraging all schools to return to in-person learning by March 1. 

SOUTH EAST MARKET OPENS | A new grocery store is opening in Grand Rapids today. The South East Market opens to the public Monday morning and hopes to be a source of healthy food for marginalized communities on the southeast side of the city -- where it can be difficult to find quality food options.
