Wednesday an awards ceremony was held for the English Language Learners throughout Grand Rapids Public Schools.
Students who earned a 3.0 GPA or higher were honored in front of their peers, their teachers and their families.
About 52 different languages are represented in the English Language Learners programs in GRPS.
