IONIA, Mich. - Ionia Public Schools students are getting out of class early on Wednesday, Sept. 5.
According to the district, various buildings and programs will be closed or canceled due to high temperatures and humidity in the classrooms. Students will be fed before school dismisses.
Dismissing at 12 p.m.:
- Ionia High School
- Ionia Middle School
- Welch High School
- Rather Elementary
Dismissing at 12:45 p.m.:
- High School Kinderstart
Dismissing at 1 p.m.:
- Emerson Elementary
- Boyce Elementary
- Jefferson Elementary
- Twin Rivers Elementary
The district is canceling afternoon Great Start Readiness Program, ECSE and Bulldog Beginnings.
