Make Irish Jig 5K your first run of the season and raise awareness for colorectal cancer

The Irish Jig 5K is a great way to kick off your running season while raising awareness for colorectal cancer and screenings.

GRAND RAPIDS, Mich. — Check out the symptoms of Colorectal Cancer from Spectrum Health Cancer Center:

  • Change in bowel habits, including diarrhea or constipation or a change in the consistency of stool
  • Rectal bleeding or blood in stool
  • Nausea and vomiting
  • Persistent abdominal discomfort, such as cramps, gas or pain
  • A feeling that your bowel doesn’t completely empty
  • Weakness or fatigue
  • Unexplained weight loss
